The restaurant's food distributor said the business is thriving despite a tough economy and that a beer-and-wine license would complement it.

A resident (speaking for herself, not as an elected official) praised the business for sponsoring teams and said late hours and beer-and-wine would fill a real gap for people out late.

A Glen Avon resident of 35 years said he and his wife are regulars, praised the food and service, and said a cold drink on Sundays while watching a game would be welcome.
